We have a collection of briefs curated by our members including ads, TV, and games. We'll share more leading up to camp.

We are a co-op so that every work we create together can have collective ownership while also allowing us to track revenue transparently. Our legal structure is the backbone which allows everyone to be paid fairly and openly. Anyone who participates in camp and creates music has the opportunity to join Amerge as a member-owner, meaning you get a vote in the use of funds and the operation of the co-op.

Participation and rights summary

As part of our co-op legal structure and bylaws, member-owners will be sharing future revenue of works we create together. To participate in the Amerge Residency and receive related revenue, attendees will be required to sign final legal agreements addressing the following:

  1. You must own, control, and be legally able to assign to Amerge your rights in works created or contributed during September 5-12, 2026, including your composition interests and sound-recording/master interests.
  2. If a label, publisher, administrator, producer, featured artist, or another third party controls your future works, you may need written clearance before participating.
  3. This is not described as a blanket assignment of your catalog. Works outside the Residency period remain under your control. Covered Residency works are expected to be owned by Amerge, with 70% of future revenue reserved for participating music makers and eligibility for co-op co-ownership.
  4. Final agreements are also expected to include assumption-of-risk, release, and indemnification provisions relating to injuries, accidents, property damage, and other Residency claims, except where liability cannot legally be waived.

Important: The linked IP agreement is marked “Draft for Legal Review: Not for Signature.” This form records acknowledgment of the eligibility summary only; it does not execute or accept that draft agreement. A final execution-ready agreement will be sent to the email you provide on this form. It must be signed before August 5th.
